N Chandrababu Naidu and his wife N Bhuvaneswari have assets amounting to Rs 20.92 crore.
This was disclosed in the mandatory affidavit the Andhra Pradesh chief minister filed along with his nomination papers for the Kuppam assembly constituency.
Naidu’s supporters filed two sets of nomination papers on his behalf before Returning Officer L Murali at Kuppam on Monday while the chief minister drove to the Criminal Courts complex in Hyderabad and took oath before Fifth Metropolitan Magistrate M Gandhi under the Representation of People Act as the TDP nominee.
Naidu is seeking re-election from Kuppam for a third consecutive term.
Before being submitted for scrutiny, the Information Technology-savvy chief minister’s ‘B’ form and nomination papers were placed at the feet of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple in Tirupati and a special pooja performed during the week-end.
Property: 1,225 sq yard house at Jubilee Hills (worth Rs 1.21 crore), a housing plot (worth Rs 30 lakh) at Banjara Hills. He does not own agricultural land.
